Walker Village Neighborhood

Walker Village is located on the far north side of Fort Hood, bordering the city of Killeen.  Surrounding streets include Battalion Avenue and Warrior Way Drive.  This community holds two bedroom duplexes and three bedroom houses.   All homes are furnished with a full size refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, stove and storage sheds. 

The neighborhood contains seven large parks within the community, all within walking distance from each block of the property.  Walker Village contains a basketball court at the entrance of the property.  The center of the property has an enormous laundry facility and across the street is the Community Life Building where residents can relax, watch television or rent out the building for private functions.  Other amenities within the surrounding area are the Post Exchange with a food court, the Commissary, a gas station, Fort Hood First National Bank, and the Walker Youth Center.  All locations are within walking distance of Walker Village.
